You’re told Simba officials are “not joking around with anyone”! That’s the phrase many are using to describe the intense transfer activity taking place as the window approaches its January 30 deadline.
Signings continue to pour in at Msimbazi, with new stars taking turns to put pen to paper for the Reds.
After signing winger Libasse Gueye from Teungueth FC, Simba have added yet another wide player.
This time, the talent has been snapped up from Ivory Coast. His name is Anicet Oura, who had been playing professional football in Finland.
Oura is expected to join Simba as a free agent after the expiry of his contract with Finnish club IF Gnistan.
The 26-year-old is versatile, capable of playing on either wing as well as in the attacking midfield number 10 role.
Oura is a recommendation of head coach Steve Barker, who previously worked with him at Stellenbosch before the player moved to Finland.
During the 2023/24 season, Oura featured for Stellenbosch, scoring eight goals in 35 appearances across all competitions.
