Simba are reportedly close to re-signing their former midfielder Clatous Chama, popularly known as “Mwamba wa Lusaka,” from Singida Black Stars.
Information from various sources indicates that after reaching an agreement with the player, Simba have also finalized terms with Singida Black Stars.
It can now be said that it is only a matter of time before Chama is officially unveiled as a Simba player.
Simba are said to have moved to bring Chama back in order to strengthen their attacking midfield following the departure of Jean Charles Ahoua, who joined CR Belouizdad.
Chama previously served Simba with great success before leaving to join Yanga, where he played for just one season.
At the start of the current season, he joined Singida Black Stars and became one of the key players in their squad.
He is a player with vast experience in the Tanzania Mainland league and African football in general.
As one of the players who previously enjoyed major success with Simba, his return is expected to boost morale and provide valuable experience to new players, especially those playing for Simba for the first time.
