Simba have agreed to sell attacking midfielder Jean Charles Ahoua, who is reported to be heading to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
For several weeks, discussions have been ongoing between the club’s management and Ahoua’s representatives regarding offers Simba received for the Ivory Coast star.
It is reported that Simba’s initial plan was to persuade Ahoua to remain at Msimbazi by offering him a new contract.
However, it has become clear that Ahoua declined to extend his deal, prompting the club’s leadership to decide to sell him, especially considering that his remaining contract expires at the end of the season.
What is now awaited is an official announcement regarding the terms agreed, with the player set to complete his move to the Middle East.
Ahoua finished last season as the top scorer in the NBC Premier League and was also tipped to win the MVP award, although it remains unclear whether those awards will be presented after being removed from the calendar in early December 2025.
