Mauritanian left back Khadim Diaw is reportedly on the verge of joining Simba.
Diaw (27) is set to join Simba as a free agent after parting ways with his former club, Al Hilal.
During the previous transfer window, Simba made strong efforts to sign Diaw, but Al Hilal were not willing to release him at the time.
A major dispute then arose, leading Diaw to boycott Al Hilal while also lodging claims over unpaid signing bonuses.
Later, Diaw and Al Hilal reached a mutual agreement that saw the player leave the club, but by then the transfer window had already closed.
Diaw was a recommendation of former head coach Fadlu Davids. After failing to secure his services, Simba were forced to sign a stopgap option, Naby Camara, who can operate either as a left back or in midfield.
