Simba goalkeeper Moussa Camara is eager to return to action after resuming fitness and strength training.
Camara, who underwent knee surgery in November 2025 for an injury that was expected to rule him out for up to three months, is now on course to make an earlier-than-anticipated return to the pitch.
He has already begun muscle-strengthening workouts in the gym and has also been seen doing intense running drills and ball exercises on the beach.
Simba are in urgent need of Camara’s return, especially after second-choice goalkeeper Yacoub Suleiman also sustained an injury while on duty with the Tanzania national team during the AFCON 2025 tournament.
Camara could be fit in time to face Esperance in the third group-stage match of the CAF Champions League, scheduled to be played on January 24 in Tunisia, with the return leg set to take place a week later in Dar es Salaam.
