In the ongoing Mapinduzi Cup tournament in Zanzibar, Simba have continued their practice of giving opportunities to foreign players as part of trials before deciding whether to sign them.
Kenyan central defender Charles Ouma was among the players given a chance, featuring in yesterday’s match against Fufuni.
Ouma joins from Police FC, the reigning champions of the Kenyan Premier League—the same club where attacking midfielder Mohamed Bajaber previously played.
If head coach Steve Barker is satisfied with his performance, the player will be offered a contract.
