Simba Queens head coach Mussa Mgosi has said he has prepared his squad to ensure they emerge victorious against Yanga Princess in the Women’s Premier League match set to be played on Sunday at the Azam Complex.
Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Mgosi acknowledged that the match comes with pressure due to the intense rivalry between the two sides, but emphasized that their objective is to collect all three points.
“We have prepared well for tomorrow’s match against Yanga Princess. This fixture is always tough. There is strong rivalry from the teams to the coaches and even the fans, which is why we have planned to win and give joy to all Simba supporters,” said Mgosi.
Speaking on behalf of her teammates, Simba Queens captain Vivien Corozane said they are aiming for a convincing win against their rivals, who have emerged as strong contenders this season.
“Our goal in every match is to get three points. We are going to face Yanga, which is a big team just like us, and we know we will face strong opposition. But to be great, you must beat big teams, so we have prepared ourselves to achieve the targets we have set,” she said.
