Simba SC have begun the process of signing defender Rushine De Reuck on a permanent basis after being impressed by his performances, it has been revealed.
De Reuck is currently playing for Simba on loan from South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns.
However, the six months he has spent serving the Msimbazi Reds have been enough to convince the club’s hierarchy, who are now keen to finalize a permanent deal for him.
Several teams have already started showing interest in De Reuck following his impressive displays with Simba, and it is clear that if he does not sign a contract early, efforts to retain him when his loan deal expires in June could prove difficult.
Rushine has become a key pillar in Simba’s defensive line and has also contributed offensively, scoring two goals in the NBC Premier League.
