Simba attacking midfielder Neo Maema is reported to be among the players who could be shown the exit door when the mini-transfer window opens, it has been learned.
Information from within the clubβs leadership indicates that Simbaβs top bosses are preparing to make key improvements based on recommendations from the technical bench.
Maema is one of the players Simba signed with high expectations, but it is fair to say he has not lived up to the anticipated performance levels.
Simba signed him as a free agent after he completed his contract with Mamelodi Sundowns, offering him a one-year deal with an option to extend for a second year.
However, there is a strong possibility that Simba will reach a mutual agreement with him, allowing the club to return to the market in search of another number 10 once the window opens.
So far, Maema has scored only one goal for Simba, netting in their CAF Champions League match against Stade Malien in Mali, a game Simba lost 2β1.
