The Tanzania national team, *Taifa Stars*, departed the country yesterday for Egypt, where they will hold a training camp in preparation for the 2025 AFCON tournament scheduled to begin at the end of this month in Morocco.
Head Coach Miguel Gamondi traveled with a 28-man squad following the final selection from the provisional list.
Simba SC players who made the final squad include Yacoub Suleiman, Shomari Kapombe, Wilson Nangu, Yusuph Kagoma, Morice Abraham, and Kibu Denis.
Tanzania has been placed in Group C alongside Nigeria, Tunisia, and Uganda. Their opening match will be on December 23 against Nigeria at 8:30 PM.
Additionally, striker Steven Mukwala has been included in the Uganda national team squad.
