Interim Simba Head Coach Suleiman Matola says his squad is fully prepared for tomorrow’s Premier League match against Azam FC, scheduled for Sunday, December 7, at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Matola described the fixture as a derby that brings together two highly competitive teams in the league.
He emphasized that matches against Azam FC have never been easy and acknowledged the challenge posed by the Ice Cream Makers, who are currently coached by Florent Ibenge.
“We have prepared well for the derby against Azam FC. I know matches against Azam FC have never been easy.”
“We are going into this match knowing we are facing a strong team coached by a very good coach (Ibenge).”
“Despite their strength, we have our plans and we will work hard to secure all three points, although I know it will not be a simple match,” Matola said.
Matola added that he has made improvements to his attacking department, and fans should expect to see greater efficiency in converting chances tomorrow.
