Simba Assistant Coach Selemani Matola says preparations for their CAF Champions League match against Petro Atletico de Luanda—scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium—have been completed.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Matola noted that there are no easy games in the Champions League, but the team is well-prepared to capitalize on home advantage and support from the fans to secure victory.
Matola emphasized that Simba are determined to reach the quarter-finals of the competition, making it crucial for them to perform well in every match.
"I can say the preparations are going very well. We understand that in the Champions League there is no easy match."
"We have approached this game with special seriousness and importance because our goal is to advance to the next stage," Matola said.
The Simba squad will hold their final training session this evening ahead of Sunday’s clash, scheduled for 4:00 PM.
