Simba SC’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, has urged the club’s supporters to purchase tickets in large numbers with the aim of filling Benjamin Mkapa Stadium for their opening CAF Champions League Group D match against Petro Atletico, scheduled for Sunday, November 23.
The club announced ticket prices yesterday, and sales have already begun through designated outlets and mobile money platforms.
Ahmed noted that Petro Atletico are not an easy opponent. He said the Angolan giants have strengthened their squad significantly this season—just as Simba have—by bringing in players from various countries within and outside Africa.
The spokesperson emphasized that Simba, a dominant force in East and Central African football, will need the full strength of their supporters at the Mkapa Stadium to ensure all three points remain at home in this crucial opening match.
