Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, has revealed that defender Abdulrazak Hamza will soon travel to Morocco to receive treatment for the injury that has been troubling him.
Ahmed stated that after goalkeeper Moussa Camara arrived safely in Morocco, where he is expected to begin his treatment shortly, the club has also taken steps to ensure Hamza receives the proper medical care needed to resolve his condition.
According to Ahmed, Hamza and Camara are the only players who will miss the CAF Champions League match against Petro Atletico scheduled for Sunday, November 23 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
"We will miss our goalkeeper Moussa Camara, who traveled yesterday to Morocco and is expected to undergo surgery that will keep him out for 8–10 weeks, roughly about two months,"
"But we will also continue to miss our defender Abdulrazak Hamza, who is also preparing to travel to Morocco for treatment of the injury troubling him," Ahmed said.
Additionally, Ahmed disclosed that Petro Atletico will arrive in the country on Wednesday ahead of their Sunday fixture against Simba.
