Jayrutty Investment Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Rwegasira, has assured Simba SC fans that the company will honor all commitments made to the club as per their agreement.
Rwegasira made the statement in response to reports suggesting that the company was delaying the delivery of a new team bus—one of the promises made when Jayrutty won the tender to supply Simba’s official kits.
"Some of the promises involved material items, while others were financial. I want to assure everyone that Simba and I are working in full compliance with what we agreed upon, and everything is on track," said Rwegasira.
"The management of Simba knows that I pay a significant amount every month to ensure that all our commitments are fulfilled," he added.
Addressing the issue of the new bus, Rwegasira explained that logistical challenges have been the main cause of delay but reaffirmed that delivery will happen soon.
"The promise of the bus is being fulfilled — it’s a vehicle that’s already on the way. The only challenges are related to transportation logistics, but I can confidently say everything is in place, and Simba fans will soon have their bus," he stated.
"A lot is being said out there, but Jayrutty and Simba remain strong. Fans should trust their team and trust Jayrutty — God willing, everything will be completed successfully," Rwegasira concluded.
The company is also expected to unveil a special edition of Simba SC kits, which will be worn starting from the CAF Champions League group stage matches.
