After a one-day break, Simba have returned to training today to begin preparations for their opening CAF Champions League group-stage match against Angola’s Petro Atlético.
According to the schedule, the match will be played on November 21 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, confirmed that all players who are not on national team duty will report to camp for training.
Seven players have already joined their respective national teams for international matches scheduled during the FIFA calendar window.
The players called up are Yacoub Suleiman, Shomari Kapombe, Wilson Nangu, Morice Abraham, Suleiman Mwalimu, Steven Mukwala, and Naby Camara.
