Simba center-back Wilson Nangu says the team is fully prepared to secure victory in their NBC Premier League match against JKT Tanzania, which will be played tomorrow, Saturday, at the Meja Jenerali Isamuhyo Stadium in Mbweni.
This will be the first time Nangu and goalkeeper Yacoub Suleiman face JKT Tanzania — their former club — since joining Simba during the last transfer window.
The defender, who has also been included in the Tanzania national team squad (Taifa Stars) for the upcoming friendly match against Kuwait on November 14, admitted it won’t be an easy game but assured fans they are ready to fight for all three points.
“JKT Tanzania are not an easy side; we know the challenge that awaits us. We have prepared well with the aim of winning tomorrow’s match,” said Nangu.
“With the kind of preparations we’ve had, I believe we’ll be stronger and capable of achieving our goals,” he added.
Simba completed their final training session today and are ready for the Saturday night clash, which kicks off at 7:00 PM.
