A day after the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) announced Miguel Gamondi as the interim Head Coach of the Tanzania national football team, *Taifa Stars*, the Argentine tactician is set to begin his tenure with a friendly match against Kuwait.
Gamondi, who also serves as the Head Coach of Singida Black Stars, was appointed on November 4, 2025, to replace Hemed Suleiman βMorocco,β whose contract was mutually terminated.
The Argentine coach will take charge of Taifa Stars in an international friendly match against Kuwait, scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025, at Al Salam Stadium in Cairo, Egypt. The match will kick off at 9:00 p.m. local time and will take place during the official FIFA international window.
Reports indicate that Gamondi will be assisted by Ahmad Ally, who is currently the Head Coach of JKT Tanzania. In the latest FIFA world rankings, Tanzania is ranked 107th, while Kuwait sits at 135th.
