After returning to Simba, he was taken to hospital, where a doctor recommended surgery as necessary.
For now, Simba will continue to rely on Yakoub Suleiman with Hussein Abel — in his second season with the club — as the backup goalkeeper.
Last season, Camara led all goalkeepers in clean sheets, keeping 19 shutouts in 28 matches between the posts.
