Before heading into the FIFA calendar break, Simba faces three Premier League fixtures to be played within one week.
You could say it is 270 minutes of back-to-back intensity, with Simba needing three points from each match in order to position themselves well early in the title race.
The run begins in Tabora on Thursday, October 30, where Simba will take to the Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium to face TRA United (formerly Tabora United).
After that match, Simba will return to Dar es Salaam to face Azam FC in the Mzizima derby at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on November 2.
This is a crucial match for Simba to collect all three points, as in recent seasons Azam FC have often disrupted Simba’s plans.
Last season’s 2–2 draw unsettled Simba’s title chase.
After that clash, Simba will travel to Mbweni to face JKT Tanzania in another competitive fixture.
This season JKT Tanzania have played five matches so far without a loss, winning one and drawing four.
It will be another derby at the Isamuhyo Stadium with JKT Tanzania as hosts, a venue Simba will also use for their Premier League matches this season.
