The group stage draw for the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup is scheduled to take place on November 3 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Simba are among the 14 teams that have already secured group stage qualification and, as things stand, they are guaranteed to be placed either in Pot 2 — or Pot 1 if results go against RS Berkane.
Yesterday, Berkane were held to a 1–1 draw by Al Ahly Tripoli in the first leg, with the return match set for November 1 in Morocco to determine who progresses.
If Berkane are eliminated by Al Ahly Tripoli, Simba would rise to fourth in the CAF club rankings and join Al Ahly, Mamelodi Sundowns and Esperance in Pot 1.
Simba are determined to make another mark in the CAF Champions League this season after reaching the Confederation Cup final last term.
