After setting a record by reaching the CAF group stage for the seventh consecutive time, Simba are now turning their attention back to domestic league action.
The Msimbazi Reds, who won their first two matches against Fountain Gate and Namungo FC, will travel to Tabora to face TRA United (formerly Tabora United) in a match scheduled for Thursday, October 30 at Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium.
This will be the first league match for Simba head coach Dimitar Pentev, whose two matches in charge in the CAF Champions League secured group stage qualification for the East and Central African giants.
Simba and Singida Black Stars remain the only teams with a 100% winning record in the league so far, having won both of their opening two matches.
Simba have scored six goals — winning both matches 3–0 — and currently sit fifth on the log, with Mbeya City leading with 8 points, though having played six matches.
