Simba head coach Dimitar Pantev has expressed satisfaction with the performance of his players in the CAF Champions League match against Nsingizini Hotspurs, despite the game ending in a goalless draw.
Speaking after the match, Pantev said there were visible improvements in his teamβs play β particularly in ball possession β but he admitted they still need to work on finishing.
"I think we played well today, we have maintained good control of the game in both legs and I congratulate my players for that."
"We will improve further, especially in the attacking third β the last 30 meters in front of goal β and also make better use of the many set pieces we get."
"It is not a one-day job, but I know Simba is a big club that must win every game. The important thing is we got the result that qualified us for the group stage."
"Our target was to reach the group stage and we have achieved that. I believe after the FIFA international break we will be even better," said Pantev.
Simba had won 3-0 in the first leg played in Eswatini, a result that secured their group stage qualification.
