What Simba fans are now waiting for is Sunday to arrive so they can watch their team seal qualification to the CAF Champions League group stage this season.
The “Mnyama” already hold a 3–0 advantage from the first-leg win away to Nsingizini Hotspurs.
Truly, only a miracle could deny Simba a place in the group stage this season.
According to the 2025 CAF rankings, Simba are placed fifth and will therefore be seeded in Pot 2 in the group stage draw, alongside Pyramids and Al Hilal, who are also on course to qualify after winning their first-leg matches.
In the group stage Simba will be drawn against one team from Pot 1, which consists of Al Ahly, Mamelodi Sundowns, Esperance and RS Berkane.
The group-stage draw is expected to take place on November 05 in South Africa.
