Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, has announced the ticket prices for the second-leg CAF Champions League playoff match against Nsingizini Hotspurs, which will be played on Sunday, October 26 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Speaking during a press conference held at TFF Headquarters, Karume in Dar es Salaam earlier, Ahmed urged fans to buy their tickets early and ensure the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium is filled on Sunday, a day on which the team will be securing their ticket to the group stage.
Ahmed also called on supporters to avoid acts of violence and entering the pitch area in order to prevent further sanctions from CAF.
“The return leg against Nsingizini Hotspurs will be played on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 4:00 pm. Let me take this opportunity to announce to our fans that they will be allowed to enter the stadium for this match. We thank all fans who sacrificed and contributed to pay the fine — the contributions were not very large but what was collected will be topped up by the club.”
“The Simba leadership condemns all acts that lead to sanctions. Ahead of this match, it is strictly prohibited to light fires and strictly prohibited for fans to enter the pitch area. These are the two things that have landed us in punishment.”
“There are people who wear Simba jerseys but are not Simba fans — they buy tickets and come to the stadium to sabotage us. We are declaring that anyone who does this deliberately — we will deal with them right there inside the stadium.”
“Ahead of this match, we have set premium ticket prices. Tanzanite — Tsh. 250,000, Platinum — Tsh. 150,000, VIP A — Tsh. 30,000, VIP B — Tsh. 20,000, VIP C — Tsh. 10,000 and Regular — Tsh. 5,000,” said Ahmed.
Ahmed said that after Simba returned from Eswatini, General Manager Dimitar Pantev granted the team a one-day break and tomorrow the squad will return to Mo Simba Arena to continue preparations.
“The team returned to Dar es Salaam yesterday, today the boys are resting and tomorrow they will return to Mo Simba Arena to begin preparations for Sunday’s match. We are happy that our coach Seleman Matola has completed his suspension so he will be on the bench on Sunday to resume his duties, and our player Alassane Kanté will return to the field to continue serving Simba,” Ahmed added.
