Centre-back Rushine De Reuck, who is in his first season playing for Simba, has been proposed as one of the team’s vice-captains.
Rushine has started his duties at Simba impressively so far, having scored two goals in the NBC Premier League.
Additionally, the defender is a key figure and leader in the defensive line, which he leads together with Carabou Chamou.
Despite these proposals, Shomary Kapombe will continue as the main captain, and when he is unavailable it is possible that De Reuck could wear the armband. Other players who could also assume that role include veteran midfielder Mzamiru Yassin.
