Minister of Finance and sports enthusiast, Dkt. Mwigulu Nchemba, has expressed his support for the campaign encouraging fans to reject counterfeit jerseys and buy official ones by purchasing 200 authentic kits himself.
Dkt. Nchemba urged fans to buy genuine club merchandise, emphasizing that doing so strengthens the clubs’ financial capacity and helps them operate sustainably.
He also commended Simba SC’s ongoing nationwide awareness campaign aimed at educating fans and encouraged other organizations to learn from Simba’s approach of directly engaging supporters in their communities to promote this important message.
