Simba SC interim head coach Hemed Suleiman ‘Morocco’ says his squad is fully prepared for Sunday’s CAF Champions League preliminary round second-leg clash against Gaborone United.
The match will be played tomorrow, Sunday, September 28, at 4:00 p.m. (EAT) at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking on his team’s readiness, Morocco confirmed that the players are in good shape, having regrouped in camp immediately after their Tanzanian Premier League victory over Fountain Gate. He also revealed there are no injury concerns in the squad.
“We know tomorrow will be a tough game against Gaborone United. It’s a decisive match and we must win to advance,” Morocco said. “I’m happy that all the players are fine. We head into this game in good condition with no injuries,” he added.
Simba head into the second leg with a slim advantage after securing a 1-0 win away in Botswana last week. A victory or even a draw at home will be enough to book their place in the next round of the competition.
