Simba SC interim head coach Hemed Suleiman ‘Morocco’ has expressed his satisfaction with the quality of the squad after overseeing his first training session with the Msimbazi Reds.
On Monday, Morocco officially began his duties as caretaker coach, working alongside Selemani Matola who remains on the technical bench together with Riedoh Berdien, following the departure of Fadlu Davids and four other coaches.
Morocco said Simba boasts players of great quality, promising to cooperate with his colleagues to ensure the club’s objectives are achieved.
“After my first training session, I am convinced that Simba has very good players who can achieve the club’s goals.”
“The main thing I told them is to forget about the pressure that came after the coach left.”
“That is the life of football — today it’s one person, tomorrow it’s another. Even I will leave one day when the time comes.”
“What made me happy is that they welcomed me warmly and worked hard in training. This gives me strength, and with the quality of players we have, we will do well.”
“I think we have a league match coming up before the Champions League game, so we’ll prepare to ensure we perform well in both,” Morocco said.
