Simba SC lodged an appeal against the sanction preventing them from admitting fans for their upcoming CAF Champions League match against Gaborone United, scheduled for Sunday, September 28, at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
CAF has yet to respond to the appeal, which, according to Simba’s management, was submitted last week.
Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, stated that the club’s leadership is making every effort to ensure fans are allowed into the stadium for the match.
However, if CAF rejects the appeal, Simba will face Gaborone United behind closed doors.
Simba need a win or even a draw in this match to advance to the first round of the competition.
