Yesterday was a special day for Simba leaders as they met with players and the technical bench to finalize strategies ahead of the 2025/26 competition season.
After the meeting, Simba’s Honorary President, billionaire Mohammed Dewji “Mo,” had the opportunity to address both the players and the coaching staff.
It has become a tradition for Mo to speak with the players, especially when approaching a crucial match.
On Tuesday, Simba will face archrivals Yanga in the Community Shield clash at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
While JayRutty has pledged a bonus of TSh 100 million if Simba win the Community Shield and TSh 10 million for any goalkeeper who keeps a clean sheet, it is reported that Mo has placed an even bigger financial incentive on the table for the players should they secure victory in the derby.
