Jayruty, the company that manufactures and distributes Simba SCβs kits in partnership with Diadora, had promised to secure a marquee signing for the club in this transfer window.
After failing in their bid to land Feisal Salum from Azam FC, Jayruty are still expected to fulfill that pledge by completing the signing of a top star.
Recently, head coach Fadlu Davids appeared to reference that promise, calling on the company to bring in either a creative attacking midfielder (number 10) or a centre-forward.
Fadlu noted that despite the major squad improvements already made, there is still one key position for a player who can decide the outcome of big matches.
The transfer window closes on September 7, meaning there is still time to finalize such a deal.
This season, Fadlu has overseen the signings of Jonathan Sowah, Neo Maema, Rushine De Reuck, Naby Camara, Morice Abraham, Antony Mligo, Mohamed Bajaber, Charles Semfuko, and Alassane Kante.
Today, Simba are also expected to unveil another new signing.
