Simba SC’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, has boasted that despite the club already unveiling several high-profile players, more big names are yet to be introduced to the fans.
Two days ago, Simba officially unveiled attacking midfielder Neo Maema, who joined the squad in Egypt after South Africa’s elimination from the CHAN tournament.
Ahmed hinted that the Msimbazi giants still have major signings in the pipeline, with fans urged to expect more excitement in the coming days.
“Simba still has players we haven’t unveiled yet, and once we announce them, if you have a smartphone, its screen protector might just crack without even falling,” Ahmed said with confidence.
“The one we have introduced (Maema) is Madiba’s grandson from South Africa, but in my file, there’s another player who is really, really good,” he added.
Among the players strongly linked with Simba is striker Selemani Mwalimu ‘Gomez’ from Wydad Athletic. Reports also suggest that Simba have secured midfielder Ahmed Pipino (KMC), center-back Wilson Nangu, and goalkeeper Yacoub Suleiman from JKT Tanzania.
