Yesterday, ENPPI secured a 4-3 victory over their Tanzanian opponents, Simba SC, in a friendly match played at the Petrosport Stadium. The game, which marked the beginning of cooperation between the two clubs, was witnessed by Ayman Al-Shari’i, Chairman of ENPPI’s Board of Directors, and General Richard Makanzo, Tanzania’s Ambassador to Egypt.
The match was part of Simba’s pre-season preparations, while also serving as a warm-up for ENPPI as they return to Premier League action following their 1-0 win over Wadi Degla on Saturday.
The encounter was also designed to strengthen ties and cooperation between the two clubs, broadening the scope of sporting relations and creating opportunities for the exchange of sporting experience as well as opening doors for new avenues of bilateral collaboration.
The Tanzanian Ambassador expressed his delight at being part of the event, commending ENPPI for the excellent preparations and warm reception he received. Meanwhile, ENPPI’s CEO emphasized that the club is always focused on expanding its sports network to further the development of the club both within and beyond Egypt.
