After weeks of negotiations, it is reported that Simba SC have reached an agreement with the army side JKT Tanzania to sign goalkeeper Yacoub Suleiman.
Simba had prioritized the signing of Yacoub, who is the first-choice goalkeeper for the Tanzania national team, *Taifa Stars*, currently competing in the CHAN tournament.
However, JKT Tanzania initially resisted releasing their number-one shot-stopper, even succeeding in extending his contract until 2028.
Simba want Yacoub to provide competition for Moussa Camara, who has remained the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper for the Reds of Msimbazi.
