Algerian club JS Kabylie has submitted an official offer to Simba SC for star attacking midfielder Jean Charles Ahoua, who shone in the 2024/25 NBC Premier League season.
According to reports from within Simba’s management, the Algerian club has shown serious interest in acquiring Ahoua, who was directly involved in 25 goals for Simba last season—scoring 16 and providing 9 assists.
However, Ahoua still has two years remaining on his contract with Simba, meaning any decision to sell or retain him lies entirely with the Msimbazi Reds.
Simba finished second in the Tanzanian Premier League last season but made history by reaching the final of the CAF Confederation Cup. Ahoua played a crucial role in that achievement, scoring four goals in the tournament and being named in CAF’s Team of the Season.
Meanwhile, Simba is in the final stages of completing the signing of attacking midfielder Feisal Salum ‘Fei Toto’ from Azam FC. Feisal led the league in assists last season with a total of 14, showcasing creativity and decisiveness in the final third.
Despite the offer from JS Kabylie, Simba coach Fadlu Davids is reportedly reluctant to let go of Ahoua during this transfer window, citing him as a key player in his tactical plans for the 2025/26 season.
