Simba Sports Club’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, has stated that all transfer processes are going smoothly as planned. He clarified that the current silence does not mean the club isn’t actively signing new players.
Ahmed explained that the only thing they haven’t done so far is officially announce the new signings, and that this will be done at the appropriate time.
"So far, we have already signed two players, and today we’re finalizing deals with two more. So in terms of transfers, we’re doing very well."
"We just haven’t started announcing them yet, but the signing process is already underway, and we have our plans. When the time is right, we’ll unveil each player one by one."
"Simba fans should not worry at all. Our supporters don’t need to feel pressured to ask questions. They should relax — when the time comes, we’ll knock on each player’s door and tell them it’s time to announce," Ahmed said confidently.
Additionally, Ahmed hinted at Simba's plan to use the upcoming CHAN 2024 tournament, which begins next week in Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya, to complete their transfer process.
"We’ll leave two or three slots open specifically for CHAN. We’ve already dispatched all our scouts to Tanzania Mainland, Zanzibar, Uganda, and Kenya to monitor the tournament.""Any player who impresses during CHAN will be approached. The management has set aside a sufficient budget for this mission," Ahmed added.
