Simba SC is reported to have completed the signing of Kenyan attacking midfielder Mohammed Bajaber (22) from Kenya Police FC.
Bajaber is a skillful winger who can play across all attacking positions — both flanks and the number 10 role.
The winger was one of the key players who helped Police FC clinch the Kenyan Premier League title last season.
Kenya’s national team coach, Bennie McCarthy, has included Bajaber in the squad for the upcoming CHAN 2024 tournament, so it is expected that Simba will officially unveil him after the tournament concludes.
This is another signing personally recommended by Simba’s head coach, Fadlu Davids, who has made it clear during this transfer window that he wants to be fully convinced of each player’s capabilities before approving any deal.
With Bajaber's arrival, Simba will now have four solid wingers, including Elie Mpanzu, Kibu Denis, and Joshua Mutale.
However, Kibu’s future with the club remains uncertain as he continues trials in the United States.
