The issue of a “10 percent” cut has been mentioned often — there are people who get rich during this transfer period by adding margins to every signing.
The current procedure is that Fadlu recommends the foreign players he wants, speaks directly with agents himself alongside the scouting team, and then communicates directly with Mo regarding payment once the deals are finalized.
Another benefit of this approach is that Fadlu will now be held accountable if the players he signs fail to meet his expectations.
Last season, Fadlu was not involved in recruiting most of the players, so he had the right to sideline some players who did not fit his tactical needs at all.
