Yesterday, Simba SC president and billionaire Mohammed Dewji ‘Mo’ publicly shared details of his meeting with Simba’s head coach Fadlu Davids.
Following that meeting, Mo assured Simba’s members and fans that after building the team last season, the next focus is on competing for trophies in the upcoming season.
Insider reports indicate that Mo has decided to give Fadlu full responsibility for handling foreign player transfers, allowing the coach to oversee those signings directly.
Additionally, the recently restructured recruitment committee has been assigned to manage domestic transfers. Board Member Salim Abdallah ‘Try Again’ will lead this committee.
Fadlu will now have direct communication lines with Simba’s top executives to monitor every step of the recruitment process for foreign players he has identified.
The South African coach has also been granted decision-making authority over these transfers and can contact Mo directly when necessary.
The purpose of these changes is to streamline the recruitment process and avoid bureaucratic delays, ensuring that the players needed are signed promptly.
