Simba attacking midfielder Elie Mpanzu has expressed his disappointment after failing to help the team achieve its goals last season.
Mpanzu urged Wanasimba not to lose hope but to continue supporting the team, promising that they will return stronger in the upcoming season.
Through a message shared on his social media page, Mpanzu encouraged Simba fans and assured them that he has no plans to leave the club.
"Greetings to all the beloved fans of our Simba SC. Since our last match, I personally felt cursed for failing to deliver what we (the whole team) had promised you.
I was heartbroken. But itβs not the end of the world. As long as we live, we keep fighting. For now, Iβm on holiday in Kinshasa spending some time with my family, but very soon, I will return to prepare with you for the new season and begin pursuing the dream that slipped away from us last season.
Letβs stay united and focused on our goals for next season. We will succeed if all of us β players, management, and you, the fans who are our biggest players β increase our efforts in our respective roles. We will surpass the limits we hit last season," wrote Mpanzu.
