Nigerian midfielder Augustine Okejepha has thanked Simba fans and bid them farewell after a mutual agreement was reached between him and the club.
Through his social media account, Okejepha posted a message of gratitude as he said goodbye to the Simba family.
"My time with Simba SC has come to an end. I want to express my sincere thanks to the entire clubβthe management, technical bench, my fellow teammates, and especially the incredible fans.
Wearing the red jersey and representing this historic and beloved club has been an honor I will never forget. My season in Tanzania has been memorable, full of challenges, and a period of great personal and professional growth.
Thank you to everyone who welcomed me, supported me, and stood by me in every match. Your love and energy made Dar es Salaam feel like home.
Simba will always hold a special place in my heart. I leave with respect, love, and best wishes for the club's continued success.
Once Simba, always Simba. Thank you so much," wrote Okejepha.
Simba had no plans to continue with the midfielder, and according to the terms of his contract, the club had the right to terminate it without additional payment if they were not satisfied with his performance.
