Ivory Coast central defender Coulibaly Souleymane of ASEC Mimosas left Tanzania earlier today for Sweden following talks with Simba SC.
Simba had brought Coulibaly to Tanzania with the intention of completing his signing, but the process was not finalized after the defender received a call-up from Swedish club IFK Varnamo.
A short while ago, Souleymane was officially unveiled by IFK Varnamo, effectively closing the door on a potential move to Simba.
Simba had targeted Coulibaly as a replacement for Che Malone Fondoh, whose contract with the club has ended.
