Burkinabè left-back Valentine Nouma has officially confirmed reaching a mutual agreement with Simba SC to part ways after just one season at the club.
Nouma joined Simba last season from FC Lupopo of DR Congo, signing a one-year contract with an option for a second year, which was subject to performance-based satisfaction from the club.
Through a post on his Instagram account, Nouma confirmed the agreement to leave Simba and took the opportunity to bid farewell to the club’s fans.
“By mutual agreement, my journey with Simba SC ends here. With competition being my top priority, I am now reviewing various proposals. Once it’s official, I will announce my next destination. Thank you to the entire Simba family and everyone who continues to support me—it was a truly great experience,” wrote Nouma.
Simba SC had already begun the search for his replacement after deciding not to extend his stay with the team.
