Simba SC’s Head of Information and Communication, Ahmed Ali, has stated that although the club may appear quiet from the outside, internal preparations for the upcoming season are actively ongoing.
Ahmed noted that Simba’s leadership continues to hold internal meetings to address key issues, including player recruitment. He assured fans and members that once these internal processes are finalized, official updates will be released to the public.
"Essentially, we are not quiet. Meetings are ongoing. Committees are meeting regularly, and the technical bench — including Coach Fadlu and his entire team — is actively engaging with management to strengthen the squad," he said.
"Once we finalize everything internally, we will come out and communicate our direction. We’ll begin by thanking the players whose contracts have ended, then we’ll unveil our new signings."
"We’ll also announce our pre-season plans, followed by preparations for Simba Day. After that, the league begins. Not a single day goes by without Simba’s top leaders holding meetings to shape our new direction," Ahmed emphasized.
Additionally, Ahmed confirmed that head coach Fadlu Davids has chosen to remain with the club despite receiving numerous offers from both within and outside Africa.
"It’s not just African clubs that want him — even European teams are after Fadlu, which speaks to the quality he has shown. In Africa, the competition for his signature has been especially intense," said Ahmed.
"But he has already made the right decision for himself: to stay with Simba SC for another season. He’s already begun discussions with club officials on how to improve the squad for better results next season," he added.
