Simba SC attacking midfielder Kibu Denis is currently in the United States undergoing trials with a Major League Soccer (MLS) club, sources have revealed.
Kibu, who is spending his off-season break in the U.S., has taken the opportunity to attend the trials. Should he impress, he will be required to return to Tanzania to seek permission from his current employers, Simba SC.
Kibuβs wife and children live in the United States, and it has become common for him to travel there frequently.
In addition to the MLS opportunity, reports from within Simba SC indicate that the club has received three other offers for the midfielder, who impressed during the CAF Confederation Cup, helping Simba reach the final.
RS Berkane (Morocco), MC Alger (Algeria), and Al Ahli Tripoli (Libya) have all made inquiries regarding his availability.
However, Simba is reportedly not ready to sell the player at this time, as he remains a key part of coach Fadlu Davidsβ squad.
Kaizer Chiefs also attempted to sign Kibu last month, but Simba was not satisfied with the offer presented.
