Veteran Simba SC midfielder Mzamiru Yassin is among the players who may be bidding farewell after failing to secure a place in coach Fadlu Davids’ squad.
Mzamiru has been part of Simba's squad for nearly 9 years, making him one of the senior players to have served the club for an extended period.
An injury he suffered at the beginning of last season sidelined him for most of the campaign, and even upon return, breaking into the starting lineup proved difficult.
As Simba embarks on strengthening the squad during the current transfer window, there is a high possibility that his remaining one-year contract may be terminated.
A humble midfielder nicknamed "the donkey midfielder" for his hard work, Mzamiru served Simba with great dedication. If he leaves, the Simba faithful will not forget his contributions.
His name will go down in the club’s list of legends.
