Simba SC has opened negotiations with JKT Tanzania in a bid to sign their left-back, Karim Bakili, it has been revealed.
Additionally, JKT Tanzania has granted Simba permission to engage in talks with the defender, who showcased impressive performances in the recently concluded season.
Karim still has one year remaining on his contract with JKT Tanzania, so the current discussions are in the preliminary stages. If an agreement is reached, Simba is expected to buy out the remainder of his contract.
Simba is planning to strengthen its defense on the left side, and they are also linked with Al Hilal’s left-back, Khadim Diaw.
However, Diaw’s deal appears challenging since he still has a contract with Al Hilal, and his club has received multiple offers, making the competition stiff.
Sources from within Simba have disclosed that Burkinabé defender Valentine Nouma might not be part of the Msimbazi Reds’ squad next season.
