Simba captain Mohammed Hussein has expressed gratitude to members and fans for the support they have given the team this season, despite not achieving their intended goals.
Yesterday, Simba concluded their league campaign with a 2-0 defeat to Yanga in a match held at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Zimbwe Jr stated that the end of this season marks the beginning of preparations for the next one, during which they will continue fighting to bring joy to the fans.
"First, I sincerely thank the Most Merciful God for allowing us to start and finish the league safely.
Second, I thank the leadership under the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mohammed Dewji, and his deputy Murtaza Mangungu, the technical bench, management, members, and all fans for standing with us until the end of the season."
"To our fans, I donβt even know which words to use to express my heartfelt gratitude for your immense love. Truly, we owe you. I would never compare your support to anything β the way you empowered us and fought for us on and off the pitch, whether in scorching sun or heavy rain, you were there.
In every tough moment, you never gave up, you never left us. May God bless you greatly. You are the true heroes. The end of one season is the start of preparations for the next.
InshaAllah, next season we will perform even better," wrote Zimbwe Jr.
