Simba has not only failed to attend the press conference ahead of the match against Yanga, but none of the club's top officials are reachable by phone.
According to a statement issued by Premier League Board Spokesperson Karim Boimanda, Simba was scheduled to appear at the press conference at 11:30 AM, but no representatives showed up.
"Simba was expected to be here at 11:30 AM, but they have not arrived. Unfortunately, they are also unreachable by phone, and we cannot wait here until 4:00 PM because other scheduled activities must continue," he said.
All eyes are now on whether Simba will send a representative to the final pre-match coordination meeting. If they fail to do so, it could signal that Simba may not show up at the stadium tomorrow to face Yanga.
Sources from within the club’s leadership have revealed that Simba is displeased with the rescheduling of the match—originally set for June 15—without being given a clear explanation for the change.
